2019 Dodge Charger SXT AWD
The Dodge Charger is different from most other four-door
sedans. The Charger is more distinct and noticeable than other models. It
already has a striking sporty look, but there are many features under the hood
and inside the car that will make it stand out from the pack in Denver or Littleton.
The 2019 Dodge Charger SXT AWD is the latest evolution in the long history of this vehicle. Colorado Springs drivers will immediately notice what makes the Charger stand out on the first drive. The vehicle provides an outstanding experience, but it also comes with many additional features for the driver's convenience. Check out the 2019 Dodge Charger SXT AWD inventory here!
Performance
The 2019 Dodge Charger SXT AWD operates off of a 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine. The 300-hp engine uses a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission. The TorqueFlite system promotes a faster transfer of the power load within the engine. The engine also features an engine cooling system that allows excess heat within the engine to move outside the vehicle.
The automatic transmission also uses the AutoStick system.
With AutoStick, the driver can manually select the gear one  wishes to use. The
driver can upshift or downshift for extra control.
The all-wheel-drive system provides control on even the slickest roads. The front axle disconnect provides extra control. The active transfer case allows for the integration of power around all parts of the vehicle.
The 19-inch wheels provide support for various tires. The wheels do best when all-season performance tires work.
One useful part of the Charger is its maintenance-free battery support. The Charger can operate on a 730-amp battery that will not corrode or wear, nor does it have to be refueled.
Features
The four-way adjustable lumbar seat provides a comfortable approach to driving. The driver seat features an eight-way power design that provides many ways to adjust it to the driver's convenience. The rear seat is a 60/40 folding unit that is easy to adjust.
All of the seats feature premium cloth fabric. Nappa leather
seats are available as part of an optional package. Added vents can also fit on
the front seats as an option for those who want something a little more
comfortable.
The Cold Weather Package is an option to consider when living in Canon City. The setup features heated front seats and a heated steering wheel to keep the driver feeling comfortable on the road.
The inside features an 8.4-inch touchscreen display. The system allows the driver to adjust many things inside the car, including the optional navigation system.
Six speakers work inside the car, which is ideal for the optional satellite radio system. The nine-speaker Alpine sound system option adds further power and even has a truck-mounted subwoofer.
Google Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are both supported by the Charger. The systems work with compatible smartphones and allow the phones to adjust the features inside the vehicle.
There are more than enough storage compartments and pockets around the inside of the vehicle for storage purposes. The trunk also has enough room for all five of the people who can fit on the inside.
Safety
The four-wheel anti-lock brakes feature electronic sensors for added performance. The sensors identify how the wheel on the brakes work and will prevent them from locking up. The design provides added steering control even when the roads are slippery in Fort Collins, or the driver is pumping the brakes hard. The Brake Assist system also applies added braking power to ensure the vehicle stops when it needs to.
The outside lights include front LED fog lamps and daytime
running lamps. The headlamps also work automatically to provide  added
illumination when it is dark out.
Other safety features include active head restraints and an all-speed traction control system. The Electronic Roll Mitigation feature uses sensors to identify when a lift occurs, thus reducing the risk of a rollover during extreme movements or any evasive actions.
One useful security feature to note entails the Hill Start Assist setup. The feature prevents a vehicle from rolling back when starting from a stopping position on a hill. The design is necessary for drivers who are regularly on inclines. The Hill Start Assist also provides enough power to the engine to allow the car to move sooner when on a slope.
